So remember last night

When Magglio was scratched from the lineup, and ol’ Jimmy put Casper Wells in the 3 hole, and everyone was all, “WHAAAAAAT? WHAT A HORRIBLE IDEA, THIS IS A TERRIBLE LINEUP, LEYLAND SUCKS”?

And then remember, during the game in the 3rd inning, when Casper got his first major league hit? That was pretty sweet.

THEN, remember in the 7th inning, when the A’s were all, “Who the hell is this Wells kid? Walk Damon to get to the rookie!”

Yeah, this happened:

FIRST MAJOR LEAGUE RBI DOUBLE

So, what was that you were saying? Don’t put him third in the lineup? Pitch to him instead of the veteran? Mr. Wells and his bat would like to have a word with you.
