For anyone planning to see the movie Nine: it’s a movie about Italians, being Italian and doing Italian things, making Italian movies. Did I mention it’s about Italians? ….played by American/French/British actors. Yeah. The costumes were pretty. That’s about it.

Week of limbo
Sitting at work after having a 5 day weekend. I don’t have to come in at all this week, but I chose to so I can rack up some free vacation hours. Christmas was good times, I made an amazing turkey and had a great time with family. Spring training tickets were purchased! Re-watching of baseball games took place on the new Roku! New Years will probably be more hanging around with family....

This year’s game 163 ranks as number seven on this list. I actually found myself re-watching that game the other night, after an effort to clean out my DVR resulted in me being unable to delete it. I felt surprisingly calm as things started to fall apart for the Tigers, the second time around. It weirdly felt like it was some sort of closure for me. Still hurts, but not as much as it did....

I didn’t even get much of a chance to mourn the loss of our awesome second baseman, who will now play third base. I wish him all the luck in the world; it will be pretty strange seeing him wearing red and white again in March.
