I’m estimating that including the postseason, I watched about 180 games of baseball this year. In the end, the last team I’d want to win it all did just that. I’m sad my boys didn’t make the playoffs; I’m sad the other teams I rooted for in the playoffs didn’t become world champs. But you know what? 151 days ‘til opening day 2010. I can’t wait.

Chase Utley has tied Reggie Jackson’s record for most home runs in a single World Series. Ryan Howard has tied Willie Wilson’s record for most strikeouts in a World Series. The self-proclaimed idiot Johnny Damon stole 2nd & 3rd on a single pitch. It’s turning out to be a pretty memorable year! Considering I hate the Yankees and am neutral about the Phillies, I am quite enjoying it.
